Summer weather often calls for the cutest tops that are sometimes difficult to wear without the right bra. You might be familiar with the racerback tanks that everyone and their mom is wearing right now. I’m also pretty sure you’ve wondered what on earth to wear underneath them to avoid showing bra straps or going commando.
I’ve always struggled with finding the right bra that stays secure without being visible. If you’re like me and have googled “what to wear under spaghetti strap tops” then you’ve come to the right post.
I’ve experimented with different options and I have found three that work really well for me. Granted, with bras and any other undergarments, it is really a matter of comfort and personal preference. You want to find something that won’t require adjusting throughout the day and all while appearing seamless.
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing what to wear under spaghetti strap tops and racerback tanks. I’ve ranked the options from the highest level of support to the lowest. I think it’s only fair to share (that rhymed!) pro-tips and secrets with your fellow girls.
Strapless Bras
The strapless bra is a classic staple that every woman should have in her collection. These work really well for a majority of tops and dresses, including strapless and off-the-shoulder. The great thing about strapless bras is that they can still provide you with lift and overall support. I highly suggest investing in one with a silicone grip to prevent slipping.
Invisible Adhesive Bra
To my surprise, when applied correctly, adhesive bras can stay put for hours. I wore an adhesive bra to a wedding a few years ago and I literally had to rip it off at the end of the night. Many women wear this style of bra with racerback tops but they are also perfect for anything open back. Most remain sticky for quite a few wears, even after cleaning.
Nipple Covers
Adhesive nipple covers are a new discovery for me but I have been really like them! They are applied similar to a bandaid and as a result, the majority are disposable. They are a great option for tops that might already provide support as they only give you coverage. The ones I buy from Amazon come in the perfect nude shade for dark skin and work really well with white and sheer tops.
